Visitor & Vehicle Identification System (VIS)

In our age of technological advancements, risk management is crucial activity, which must be carefully addressed by any organization. Security systems are one of the more orthodox methods to protect an organization's assets. Without break terrorism, and prevailing global security situations, there is a serious need for advance security systems.

Vehicle identification is performed by acquiring an image of the vehicle arriving at the gate using a surveillance camera. The image is then scanned by the VIS system to determine the license plate number of the vehicle. The number is then checked with authorized numbers in a database. If a match is found, the vehicle is allowed to enter the premises by lifting the barrier. The software also has provision to display personal message through an interfaced electronic display board.

Visitor identification is performed by first acquiring the thumb impression of the visitor through the thumb scanner. The salient features of the thumb imprint are extracted and searched in the database. If a match occurs, the user is granted access to the facility.
