Makabu`s Supply Chain Management System (SCM) is a comprehensive system that can be used by both manufacturing and services companies. The system allows the users to enter a sales forecast for products. This forecast is matched against existing product inventory and a production plan is produced that determines the lead time and actual costs for a product based upon actual raw material inventory. In this way the users are able to answer questions:

• When will an order be completed? What are the delays?
• How much has been produced? How much has been wasted
