Data Management System (DMS)

Makabu`s Data Management system (DMS) has been developed to effectively manage the information on the internet for companies that need to access documents and information stored on a number of websites. Makabu’s DMS in an intelligent application that searches MS Word documents, text files, pdf files that are located on the Internet and extracts pre-defined types of information to be stored in a PC-based application residing on the users desktop.

DMS has three major components that work together to give a comprehensive solution:Web Crawler; Data Converters; and Data Transformers.

DMS is a customizable windows based application that helps organizations to continuously retrieve and parse particular information sets from a large number of web sites and store information in their database.

Uses of this system have included retrieval of federal/state government tenders for the construction industry, equipment supplier ad IT projects.
